Abiding Savior Church is a "Reconciling in Christ" congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. As such, we are committed to providing a worship and ministry community that is open, affirming, and, accepting of all people.

In our experience, the commitment to welcoming all to exercise their ministry gifts in and through our congregation has been a positive influence on our parish life and the mission and ministry we all share in Christ Jesus. What we have done is not bold, daring, or defiant. It is simply the right thing for any congregation to do if they are to remain faithful to the Gospel imperative of welcome in the name of Christ.

"The minister in our midst" was sent by the Holy Spirit and continues to serve with us well in a Word and Sacrament ministry in answer to his Call by that same Spirit who calls and empowers us all in our lives and living.
